This is a dynamic and rewarding new opportunity to be part of an industry leader.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Role Description</strong></p><p> </p><p>This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified Engineer Surveyor  with a background in in Power Press and/or hazardous machinery maintenance to join Allianz Engineering, a division of one of the largest Inspection Service providers in the UK.</p><p> </p><p>As a newly recruited Engineer Surveyor at Allianz Engineering, you will automatically be enrolled onto our unrivalled induction-training programme to support your personal development.</p><p> </p><p> </p><ul><li>You will carry out the thorough examination<strong> </strong>of a wide range of mechanical equipment from 1000 Ton presses through to guillotines and injection moulding machinery.</li><li>You will also be required to undertake a non-destructive training course, maintain your competence and complete crack detection of press components.</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>Salary Information</strong></p><p> </p><p>Pay: Circa £45,539 per year + Company car.</p><p> </p><p>Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.</p><p> </p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><ul><li>Up to date on their knowledge and understanding of all relevant compliance and regulatory rules and procedures that relate to Power Presses.</li><li>Experienced in the  manufacturing, repair or maintenance of Power Presses, Brake Press, Injection Moulding Machines, Woodworking equipment, Associated Guards & Protection devices.</li><li>Understanding of electrical control systems and associated documentation would be an advantage.</li><li>Strong customer interaction skills are essential, including good oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Willing to learn and take on new challenges.</li><li>Able to make well informed decisions, and willing to take responsibility.</li><li>Effective in their short, medium and long-term planning, in order to diarise meetings, visits and work allocation.</li><li>Able to travel effectively within your local allocated work area.</li><li>Competent in processing documentation, as well as undertaking general administration in a timely manner.</li><li>Willing to support and deputise for fellow Engineer Surveyors as and when required.</li><li>Possess strong customer support skills, both facing and in written communication.</li></ul><p> </p><p>We support the government scheme “Access to Work” please feel free to ask us about the access to work scheme.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Desirable Skills</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>What We Will Offer You</strong></p><p> </p><p>Recognised and rewarded for a job well done, we have a range of flexible benefits for you to choose from- so you can pick a package that’s perfect for you.
