About the role

We’re now looking for an experienced Multi Trade/Joiner to join our friendly Team in Leicester to carry out a wide range of remedial works on housing stock within the Central Region.

The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of remedial works with the majority involving Joinery skills in unoccupied Riverside properties to ensure our homes are safe, secure and well maintained for our new and existing customers who will be moving into their new home.

This role will include working with a team as well as lone working to meet our desired deadlines.

Apply your knowledge, skills, and training to complete the repairs assigned to you in a safe, efficient manner. Taking care that they are of high quality, comply with technical specifications and provide a long-lasting solution.

What we’re looking for

Essential

· Minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Joinery.

· A full UK driving licence held for at least 1 year.

· Have commercial driving experience.

· Be able to demonstrate a high level of customer care.

· Access to your own tools.

Desired

· Ideally, you will have previously worked in a social housing environment.

· Experience working with Damp & Mould.

· Have a NVQ Level 3 in Joinery.

Additional Information

The successful candidate will be required to complete the following pre-employment checks before we can agree on a starting date:

· Proof of right to work in the UK

· Completing a Driving Licence Pre-Employment Check form and a front and back copy of your licence.

· Providing proof of relevant professional qualifications.

· A completed Criminal Charges and Convictions Self-Disclosure Form

· A completed Health Questionnaire

· Two references covering the last 3 years of employment and/or training, which are satisfactory to Evolve
