In the absence of a command officer, the individual will work in conjunction with other firefighters, or will assume command as the most senior firefighter. May assist to coordinate, instruct, or supervise the work of other firefighters, new recruits, or other department personnel, as assigned.</div><br>General Purpose:<div style="padding: 0px 0px 0px 50px; margin: 0px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">To protect life and property by performing firefighting, emergency medical services, hazardous materials, and fire prevention duties.
