Pediatric Associates is seeking a Full-time Outpatient Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our practice in Hialeah, FL.

Position Overview:

  • Full-time Position
  • Schedule: 4-4.5 days per week with rotated Saturdays
  • No Newborn Rounding
  • No Call Schedule
  • EMR: eClinical Works
  • Spanish Speaking is required

Experience:

  • 2 years of general pediatric experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant is required

Education, Licensure & Certification:

  • Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
  • Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam
  • Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006, must be board certified
  • Nurse Practitioners must be certified by the ANCC or PNCB
  • Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
  • Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
  • Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
