Candidates with a strong track record in fostering positive relationships with the community, local organizations, and fellow team members are highly preferred.</p><h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2><p>Here in West Sacramento, we understand the value of our employees and offer a competitive annual base salary ranging from $157,068 to $191,352 depending on experience with 3% salary increases on 1/1/2026 and 1/1/2027. This includes career enhancement and wellness reimbursements up to $1,000 annually, up to 15% education incentives and post certification, a 3% contribution to a 401a, and up to $2,477 a month for family medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a one time lump sum bonus of $4000 on 12/1/2024. A Bachelor’s Degree preferred.</p><p><u>Experience:</u> Six (6) years experience as a peace officer in a municipal or general law enforcement agency.
