Join us and be part of something bigger – helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time.   As a Cardiopulmonary Educator with CVS Health, you will have the opportunity to use your clinical skills to be an educator to your patients and their caregivers, helping them understand their complex Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapies by providing infusion training and clinical support. This is a direct-hire, full-time position. In this role you will:

  • Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations and the sales team to coordinate the patient’s plan of care.
  • Work within a highly specialized area of nursing and enjoy the autonomy that comes from working within a home care service.
  • Assist patients who are initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled therapies for PAH.
  • Develop deep relationships with patients and caregivers in a one-on-one setting.
  • Have excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills to interact with key partners.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for weekend coverage approximately once/month.
Coverage Area/Travel:
  • When not visiting patients in-person, you will work from home (approximately 20-30% of the time).
  • You will primarily visit patients within the entire state of NJ.
  • Need to have the flexibility to visit patients throughout the Central Region approximately 10-20% of the time.
  • Travel will primarily be via car and occasionally via airplane to see patients, support our sales team, and for training as needed.
  • Candidates must reside within one hour of an International Airport within the surrounding territory.
  • Overnight travel is approximately 20% of the time.

As a national leader in the home infusion field, we seek those special RNs who not only possess strong clinical expertise with creative ideas but who also have the kind of deep compassion and sensitivity it takes to treat people in their homes. Required Qualifications:
  • Must live within one hour of an International Airport within the surrounding territory.
  • Registered Nurse with a current unrestricted compact license in the state of NJ with ability to obtain additional licensure for multi-state service area
  • Two years of experience in a critical care or acute care hospital setting providing high-tech infusions, or two years of high-tech home infusion experience.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation as determined by staffing and business needs
  • Ability to build positive business relationships with all levels of medical/clinical personnel.
  • Ability to travel as noted in the position summary and as business needs require.
  • Have and maintain current CPR certification.
  • Possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance
  Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in caring for patients with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension – PAH is great, but not required
  • Home healthcare and pediatric experience is preferred, but not required
  • CRNI certification is preferred, but not required
