THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: The Supplier Ops Analyst II - Vendor Master Data Analyst II will manage the Vendor Maintenance Inbox and execute vendor creations and updates for all Ulta Beauty merchandise Brand Partners and non-merch suppliers in accordance with Sox Compliance guidelines and internal business processes. This position will work across many functional areas of Ulta Beauty.

Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor creations and maintenance activities for non-merch vendors in the Informatica MDM and validate SAP interfaces are timely.
  • Creates Support tickets and escalates issues to the Sr Vendor Master Data Analyst.
  • Supports the Sr Vendor Master Data Analyst to execute UAT for enhancements.
  • Supports the Sr Vendor Master Data Analyst with Informatica Incidents and Enhancements with our internal IT partners and external business partners.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Ulta’s VMD system, following proper governance policies.
  • Updates Training Materials, Documentation and Job Guides related to vendor master data activities.
  • Supports the Sr Vendor Master Data Analyst to create reports for internal stakeholders across departments
  • Represent VMD in cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
  • Document and maintain VMD best practices, including requirements defined in the Ulta Beauty Supply Chain Guide
  • Partner with MDM and IT teams to support system enhancements, error resolution, and data migration activities
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues, working cross-functionally to improve data standards and controls
  • Participate in external conferences, vendor sessions, and offsite engagements as needed
  • Assist with onboarding and mentoring new team members or cross-functional partners as applicable
  • Actively engage in change management efforts and help drive adoption of new tools or systems impacting VMD

Requirements

  • 2-5 years direct work experience in vendor master data management or similar work experience, preferably within retail industry or supply chain
  • BS or BA University degree required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Detailed oriented; able to multi-task and prioritize; motivated self-starter
  • Ability to build relationships at various levels
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, organize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to set expectations and deliver results on time
