About the position

As a Global Accessories Merchant at Levi's, you will blend consumer insights, market trends, and financial knowledge to deliver compelling, brand-right assortments that meet customer needs across clusters and channels. You will report to and partner with a Senior Merchant and will lead the global product strategy, assortment architecture, and seasonal line plans for a designated accessories category. A Levi's Global Merchant partners with Design, Product Planning, Marketing, Brand Environment, and group Merchandising teams to ensure cohesive execution and commercial success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the global merchandising strategy for the assigned category, aligned with brand vision and financial goals.
  • Manage seasonal line planning, ensuring a balanced assortment across styles, price points, and group needs.
  • Analyze historical performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
  • Partner with Design and PD to influence product development with a consumer-first mindset.
  • Be a hands-on team member and work on the systems ensuring data integrity.
  • Collaborate with group teams to understand local market dynamics and apply insights to inform global assortments.
  • Monitor industry shifts and latest trends to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Present important findings in business review meetings and update Design and Product Development partners on product sales.
  • Prepare and lead merchandise presentations to group teams and senior leadership.
  • Demonstrate character aligned with Levi's Values.
  • Influence with empathy and clarity, building trust and understanding across partners.
  • Guide the business and merchandising strategy.
  • Partner with Brand Environment and Creative to deliver compelling big ideas and seasonal strategies in stores and Levi.com to promote conversion, UPT, and ADT.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of direct merchandising experience in apparel or accessories.
  • Apply knowledge of global merchandising and design trends to connect the dots and create product ideas that win in the marketplace.
  • Product inspired by working knowledge of apparel or accessories design construction and cost of goods.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Open to travel.
